Andrea joined the University of Tennessee Foundation as Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Engagement in July 2015. She contributes to UT’s campus-wide strategy for advancing robust strategic corporate and foundation partnerships and connecting those partners to our cutting-edge interdisciplinary research and workforce development opportunities. Working closely with the staff and faculty of the University’s colleges, research centers, institutes, the Office of Research, UT administration and the UT Research Foundationshe will help provide a holistic approach to corporate and foundation engagement with the goal of cultivating partnerships that best serve the needs of all parties.
Andrea brings more than a dozen years of outside corporate sales experience to the University. With a previous focus in banking, finance and investments, she also has experience as a market manager in the consumer products sector. These assignments helped her develop a deep understanding of the private sector, gain a propensity for generating prospects, and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships. Andrea earned a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and enjoyed several years living abroad post-grad. She served back to back years as the project-lead for the Young Banker’s Club, (a volunteer-based financial literacy education program for Cincinnati’s inner-city public schools), and more recently served as a volunteer for Second Harvest Food Bank, (Knoxville) and the Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley.
