Strategy Summary

  • Become the gateway for strategic corporate and foundation partnerships – both internally and externally.
  • Create a corporate and foundation relations ecosystem internally across campus with faculty, deans, department heads and staff.
  • Employ a centralized corporate and foundation Strategic Partnership Advisory & Research Council “SPARC”.
  • Maximize corporate and foundation opportunities across university units while minimizing silos. Identify the multi-disciplinary opportunities and deliver a multi-faceted menu to corporations and foundations.
  • Foster new corporate and foundation partnerships and expand those that already exist.
  • Simplify interaction between corporation/foundation partners and the university.  Become a full-service concierge service (i.e. ‘one-stop-shop’).
  • Manage and house the university’s corporate and foundation prospect portfolio.
  • Develop customized approaches for each corporation and foundation by generating strategic intersection analyses.
  • Steward and fulfill existing partnerships. Work across units to ensure we meet the expectations of our partners.
